That’s around what they’re going for over here. Although to my knowledge, the Disco 1 stops at MY 98, so the seller either doesn’t know the year or doesn’t know what gen it is.

Without miles, hard to say. The 4.0 is likely to pop a head gasket at some point, I think, though that’s not 100% a given, and it may be (probably is) due for a timing chain replacement right about now.

It’s not a 1999. It’s more likely a 1996 Discovery series I. If your buddy like basket cases, tell him that’s not a bad price.

If it were me, I wouldn’t get it. I don’t trust stick-figure families.

By the looks of the door handles it’s a Series 1 Disco so the guy doesn’t know the year.
